Kootenai County Aquifer Protection District and Budget Committee
The Aquifer Protection Board of Kootenai County advises the Kootenai County Board of Commissioners on issues related to Aquifer Protection matters.
In June 2020, Daniel Sturgis, hydrogeologist with the Idaho Department of Water Quality, gave a presentation to the Aquifer Protection Board regarding his SVRP Aquifer boundary update work. Greensferry Stakeholders would like the Aquifer Protection Board to take a stand and advocate for protection of Greenferry Water District wells in light of IDWR’s updated research.
